Opportunities for Artists: Fiscal Sponsorship
The Ed Portal is proud to bring Fractured Atlas, an organization dedicated to supporting artists at every level of the cultural ecosystem, to Allston-Brighton! Artists and creatives will learn more about fiscal sponsorship—an alternative for those who would like a simple and flexible organizational structure, but would also like to access the benefits of non-profit status—through small group events or an evening workshop.
Afternoon Sessions
Pre-register for a 30-minute small-group session (between 1:00–5:00pm) and receive an introduction to fiscal sponsorship and personalized advice about managing your arts practice. These sessions are ideal for artists, creatives, and cultural workers who are considering fiscal sponsorship or have specific questions. Courtney Harge of Fractured Atlas—a leading fiscal sponsor for artists nation-wide—explains everything you need to know about working with fiscal sponsors and shares insights on how you can maximize the benefits in service of your project.
Evening Session
For those wondering what fiscal sponsorship is or how it may be relevant to them, join us for an evening workshop at 6:30pm where you will hear from Fractured Atlas, the Arts & Business Council of Boston, Boston Dance Alliance, and more.
