Start a Creative Revolution: Using the Arts to Create Social Change
Through stories and conversation with practicing social change musicians and supporting organizations, artists will be offered practical ideas and insights into how they might step off the stage and into a social issue or concern with their music. On a deeper level, we’ll consider how musicians can become social change entrepreneurs in their communities and how to frame their social justice work so they're not always giving it away - considering how to pursue grants, fiscal sponsorship, nonprofits partnerships and other alternative approaches.
