Sustaining Your Arts Business: Culture, Policy, & Practice with Fractured Atlas
Fractured Atlas is excited to host four free workshops for artists and creative organizations in the Cleveland area on November 15 and 16, 2018. Through a generous grant from The George Gund Foundation, Fractured Atlas will share with Cleveland’s creative communities a business bootcamp; workshops on conflict resolution and diversity, equity, and inclusion; and a discussion of the intersection of arts, policy, and activism.

Resourcing Your Practice with Creative Many
This workshop will focus on the types of financial resources artists need to sustain their practice – including fundraising and fiscal sponsorship, as well as finding, researching and applying for these different types of opportunities.

It takes many different types of knowledge working together to thrive as a team. Members of CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia, Fractured Atlas, and Allied Media Projects will explore how the resource-sharing model of fiscal sponsorship can provide artists and projects with nonprofit compliance and administration.

Dance Business Bootcamp at Dance/USA Conference
Dance Business Bootcamp is a two-part workshop for independent artists, choreographers, and small-budget dance groups looking to accelerate their operations. The session is facilitated by Fractured Atlas, a national organization that empowers artists to succeed as entrepreneurs, in collaboration with Dance/USA.
This workshop will take place on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 1:30 – 3:30pm at the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance and on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 8:30am – 12:00pm at the Colburn School in Los Angeles, CA.

Held every summer in Detroit, the conference brings together a vibrant and diverse community of people using media to incite change. We define "media" as anything you use to communicate with the world.

The Ed Portal is proud to bring Courtney Harge, Member Advisor for Fractured Atlas (an organization dedicated to supporting artists at every level of the cultural ecosystem), to Allston-Brighton! Artists and creatives will learn more about fiscal sponsorship through small group events or an evening workshop.

SEED Summit for the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation
The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation is bringing together its SEED grantee organizations and Artist as Activist fellows for a week of networking and skill-sharing. The convening takes place at the Rauschenberg Residency campus in Captiva, FL.
Courtney will be joining the summit to offer support to the attendees while better assessing how Fractured Atlas can serve the needs of their growing enterprises.
